My Fears.

Alright, it's time for a little fact about me. I am deathly afraid of clowns (mostly the really scary ones), rubber chickens, people in chicken costumes or other full body costumes, and just chickens in general.

I use to love clowns as a kid when I went to parades, but now I get creeped out every time I see a clown, and I think it has to with the fact the I have seen way too many scary movies with clowns in them. When we were dating, Ryan's dad use to chase me around while he was wearing this awful clown mask. It made me want to cry every time. As for the chickens, I cannot stand the texture, the sound, or the appearance of rubber chickens. If I see them in a store I literally run and hide. I did this the last time I was in the mall in my town when my friend and I went into Spencer's. When the chicken dance comes on at events and the person in the costume comes out, I run in the opposite direction. Regular Chickens bother me too. They are so awkward and gross looking. I can hardly eat chicken, it really depends on how I'm feeling. Most of the time it grosses me out to much to eat it.

There's no term for the fear of rubber chickens, but the fear of regular chickens is called Alektorophobia. The fear of clowns or any person in disguise is called Coulrophobia.

I found this little saying about clowns and I thought it was kind of funny. "Big, round red noses and floppy, floppy shoes; orange fright wigs and all that makeup. You just know they can't be up to any good."

Just looking for and at these pictures makes me want to puke, yuck! But I was trying "face my fears" for you all, ha-ha.
